Bonjour
Thomas dans le podcast 004, tu parles de l'usage de l'heure
Tu dis :
"It's a quarter till four"
Comment écris-tu "till" ? Ici nous apprenons la forme "it's a quarter to four"
Peux tu stp donner des précisions ?

A bientôt

Martin

NicoFromFrance if you use iTunes, click to the right of the podcast and you have a window with the vocabulary of the lesson.

Otherwise I learnt with TO.
Maybe TO is for UK and till for USA...

Thomas

"till" est une forme coupée du mot "until" -- son orthographe peut être till ou 'til ou til
Vraiment, parler de l'heure en anglais est très flexible.

"It's a quarter to four"
"It's a quarter until four"
"It's a quarter till (n'importe quelle orthographe) four"

Tous les trois marchent également, je dirais. Au moins, ils marchent aux USA. Je ne sais pas en Angleterre.
