hi Thomas!!how do you translate "c'est pas trop tot"
not in the sens early in the morning.for exemple:you are in restaurant and the maid take him time for coming!!and here you're saying "c'est pas trop tot" because he's late.I hope you understood my exemple!! :-\

by the maid i assume you mean the waiter? hmm....let's see here. "tot" could be early or soon, depending. so a literal translation comes off as "its not too early" or "its not too soon", but i dont think thats what you mean.

who do you say "c'est pas trop tot" to? someone youre eating with, or to the waiter?

I watched a movie in original version but with french subtitles.I undesrtood the word "time" but not the word before and the subtitles were "c'est pas trop tôt"

the expression might have been "it's about time!"

this is something you say to someone who is late, meaning "good, you're finally here, but you're late!"
