While this may originally appear to be a normal picture of stores along a street, there was a specific reason I chose these stores. If you look carefully, you will notice that there are, in fact, two different Orange stores in the picture! I couldn't figure out how to get it in the picture, but actually, there was a third Orange store on the other side of the street just a few stores down. Now, the store on the left is primarily an Orange photo service store, and the one on the right is primarily a Mobistore, but they both do most of their business by selling Orange cell phones and contracts. (The third store, the one not in the picture, was primarily a France Telecom store, but like these two, also sold Orange cell phones and contracts.) This just struck me as odd because it shows the high level of dominance enjoyed by Orange in France, since they can split their services into different stores, even ones so close together.
